Kulgam: Apart from district administration, one of prominent NGO in the area known as Humanity Wings Serving Human Beings launched awareness campaign after the rise of COVID positive cases in the district.
In this direction on June 6, 2020 awareness cum medical camp was organized by the NGO with ISM (Ayush) Kulgam in Manzgam block of district Kulgam. SDM NOorabad, Naib Tehsildar, Medical Officer ISM Kulgam and many citizens participated in these programmes.
In the recent past the NGO has conducted such awareness cum medical camps in many villages and educated sarpanchs, panchs and teachers in these camps of how to aware common villagers to take precautions against the spread of COVID-19.
The NGO Humanity Wings is being funded by locals in the district Kulgam and they have appealed people to contribute so that they can hold more such camps in the villages.
