COVID-19: 15 CRPF personnel among 154 news cases in J-K

Srinagar: Fifteen paramilitary forces personnel and five policemen were among 154 COVID-19 infections reported in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The cases which also include six pregnant women and two doctors take the overall tally of the COVID-19 patients in J-K to 5834.

Giving district wise break up, bulletin by Department of Information and Public Relation, J-K, mentioned: twenty-eight cases were reported from Srinagar followed by twenty-one in Baramulla, twenty in Budgam, twenty-one in Shopian, eleven each in Jammu and Pulwama, nine in Kulgam, seven each in Kupwara and Kathua, six each in Udhampur and Ramban, four in Doda, three in Samba, two in Bandipora, and one each in Rajouri, Reasi, and Kishtwar.

Dr. G H Yatoo, Nodal Officer Coronavirus Control Measures at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences told a local news agency, Global News Service, that out of the samples processed at the viral diagnostic lab today, fifty-seven returned positive for the virus.
