Amid ongoing stalemate over ‘unreasonable’ restrictions imposed by the authorities on the movement of passenger vehicles, the transporters on Friday served a three-day memorandum to the administration to fulfil their demands.
The agitating transporters have warned to come on streets if their demands were not fulfilled in a stipulated time period.
“The authorities are forcing us to take some extreme steps,” TS Wazir, president of the J&K Transporters Union, told the media. He said the transporters were ready to start operation of passenger vehicles provided the authorities announced some package.
