There is no doubt in the facts that doctors, paramedics especially nurses have been virtually playing with their lives while saving people in the hospitals suffering from Covid-19 infection. Doctors and other health department officials have been on the forefront of the fight against Covid in Jammu and Kashmir.

It is purely due to their efforts that hundreds of patients have recovered and have been sent back to their homes from the hospitals after treatment. People of Kashmir have been thankful to the efforts of the health department to combat the virus but there are always expectations and some mistakes.

Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) recently appreciated the efforts of doctors and other health care providers across Kashmir for tackling the COVID-19 pandemic despite being away from their families.

They have been fighting this battle while being away from their homes and many of them have been overstretched and overburdened with continued duty in the hospitals.

Doctors Association has appreciated the health care workers for sustaining online consultation, immunization, child health, COVID and non-COVID services, emergency and maternity services, testing, tracking, surveillance, and monitoring people.

People of Kashmir have always saluted the efforts of the hospitals along with their all staff including sweepers and drivers during this pandemic and have said that it is purely because of their efforts that hundreds of patients suffering from Covid-19 infection have recovered.
