Coronavirus: Kashmir reports death, JK toll goes up to 102

Kashmir reported a COVID-19 death on Wednesday, taking the contagion-linked death toll in J&K to 102.

A 50-year-old woman from Eidgah locality of Srinagar, who had tested positive for coronavirus, died on Wednesday morning at SKIMS Soura.

Dr G H Yatoo, Nodal officer for Covid-19 at SKIMS said the woman was hospitalized as a case of hypertension, hypothyroidism with community-acquired pneumonia with type 1 respiratory failure.

 

She was admitted to SKIMS on June 19.

So far, 102 people have died in Jammu and Kashmir with or of CoVID-19, which include 90 from Kashmir and 12 from Jammu division
