SRINAGAR: At least one army personnel was injured in attack on army at Hygam area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
An official said that militants fired at joint forces party near Hygam area of Sopore town of the district.
He said that in the attack one army personnel sustained injuries and was shifted to hospital.
Soon after the attack, the entire area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers, said an official.
