Body of 50-yr-old man found near GB Pant hospital in Srinagar

Srinagar: Dead body of a 50-year-old man was found near GB Pant Hospital on Monday, reported a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS).

An unnamed police officer told GNS said that locals spotted the body near the hospital and accordingly contacted concerned police station. Later, a police team reached the spot and retrieved the body.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Saraibal, also known by a nickname, Tita.

He said that a case under the relevant section of law has been also registered and further investigation was taken up. (GNS)
