Srinagar under severe restrictions

In the pictures is the feel of situation on Friday afternoon, as security forces and police erected barricades and barbed wires every especially in Dalgate to thwart any Muharram procession as they had scheduled to bring out a procession from Abi Guzar to Dalgate.

CRPF even created barricades by their vehicles to control the situation while as police deployed more men in Lal chowk, Regal Chowk and closed all bridges over the river Jhelum from Polo View to Lal Chowk.

There was no public movement in this stretch on Friday afternoon as the pictures speak themselves.
