There is a changing political landscape in Kashmir with ground activists moving from one party to another, while the political activities have started picking up in the mainstream political camp, but PDP was disallowed to hold any meeting of its leaders in Srinagar office.

Top police officers of JK administration told the media that they were having instructions from the above not to allow PDP meet. PDP leaders uploaded their videos on social media showing how police have stopped them from moving out of their homes.

Daughter of Mehbooba Mufti, Iltija in a series of tweets claimed that they were being discriminated against while other political forces were allowed to hold such meetings.

PDP is not being allowed to have normal political activities in Kashmir valley and its president Mehbooba Mufti who is also former chief minister continues to be under PSA detained in her home.

Amid such activities recently some ground workers of BJP joined JK Apni Party in Srinagar and this party has conducted a lot of meetings in the recent past and its leaders were being allowed freely to meet their activists even in pandemic.

The National Conference has already held a political affairs committee meeting and has retreirated its stand on the article 370, and also demanded release of Mehbooba Mufti.
