Burglars decamp with cash and kind in Southern Anantnag

Burglars broke into four shops in KP road area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag town and decamped with cash and accessories.

The shopkeepers told KNT that they found the locks of their shops broken in the morning and cash missing.

The burglary incident has taken place during the intervening night of Sep 8 and 9.

The shops where burglars looted accessories and cash include a computer hardware and digital shop, Kidswear, cell phone shop and a fruit shop, all located near General Bus stand, KP Road.

The owner of the mobile shop said that burglars have also stolen his laptop.

A police official said that they have taken the cognizance of the incident and registered a case.

A couple of days back, at least half a dozen shops were looted by burglars in North Kashmir’s Sopore town. (KNT)
