Even the parliament MP from Srinagar and Former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah said that because of lack of oxygen many patients died in Jammu city and demanded better patient care both in Jammu and Srinagar cities.

Farooq Abdullah was responding to the different media reports including in some Delhi based media outlets, blaming the authorities in the UT administration of Jammu and Kashmir for the spread of Covid-19 infection and also for the alarming rise in death rate due to this viral infection.

With spread of Covid virus across Jammu and Kashmir especially in twin cities of Srinagar and Jammu, people have exposed the claims of administration that they were ready with hospitals and equipment to help people in this pandemic.

In Jammu city citizens residents have recently told the media that they lost their dear ones due to the lack of ventilators and medicines and above all lack of empathy of doctors to Covid positive patients.

In Jammu city, many residents are now living under fear of getting the infection as the administration has failed to provide them any kind of cover or precautions on time.

Due to the alarming spread of Covid-19 in Jammu, administration is facing a lot of public criticism and the residents of Jammu have appealed to the government not to believe in the figures being provided by the officials but visit the hospitals to see for themselves the state of affairs aimed pandemic.
