Flurry of political activities, Omar, Farooq meet Mehbooba

Soon after she walked to freedom, Mehbooba Mufti has conveyed that she will start the political fight in a collective manner and released her audio clip on her twitter.

On Wednesday afternoon two former chief ministers Farooq Abdullah and his son Omar Abdullah walked to her Gupkar residence and held a meeting with her.

After the meeting Omar Abdullah told the media that she has been invited to sign the Gupkar declaration tomorrow.

Mehbooba Mufti has already said that she will hold a press conference on Friday. Omar Abdullah this afternoon in a tweet said, “Met Mehbooba Mufti Sahiba this afternoon to enquire about her well-being after her release from detention. She has kindly accepted Farooq Sb’s invitation to join a meeting of the Gupkar Declaration signatories’ tomorrow afternoon”. In a tweet former Union Home Minister and Congress leader P. Chidarambram said, “Happy that Ms Mehbooba Mufti has been finally released after 14 months of unjustified detention.”
