Raj Bhawan in focus

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha by his recent assurances and actions has shown that he is going to rule Jammu and Kashmir out of box and in his own style and would not care whether the security establishment is happy with him or not.

Media reports have recently said that in the Raj Bhawan in some of the recent high level meetings, Manoj Sinha has expressed his anger on the behavior of police with common people and also asked the chief secretary to make a list of all those officers who have pending complaints against them.

Some of the recent decisions taken by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Jammu and Kashmir are bold, out of box and have consequences also both on the political and administrative front.

In the media interaction at Jammu some weeks back, Manoj Sinha has assured them that there would be no witch hunt against the journalists for exposing corrupt practices in administration and also in the police set up.

Recently according to media reports he visited the families of three Rajouri youth who were killed in Amshipora, Shopian in the fake encounter.

Can he sustain to go against the winds and against the tide to withstand the pressures of bureaucracy and police while governing Jammu and Kashmir is being closely watched here?
