Kashmir Times office sealed by Estates Department

MK DESK
Srinagar: After the KNS office was sealed by the Estates Department, on Monday the authorities sealed the office of Daily Kashmir Times being published from Srinagar and Jammu. According to the govt officials, the sealing of these offices is the part of the process started by them to get these buildings vacated under norms and rules.
Kashmir Times has been in news since the abrogation of Article 370 on August, 5-2019 when its editor Anuradha Bhasin Jamwal moved to SC seeking space for the publishing of the newspapers in Kashmir.
Subsequently, Government Advertisement support was stopped to Kashmir Times, and its Srinagar edition faced a lot of difficulties for the print edition. While Kashmir Times has been at the loggerheads with GOvernment, most of the newspaper organizations in Kashmir remained away from this fight.
