Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Awantipora Police arrested two drug peddlers near Imamabara Wakherwan Awantipora.
As per police statement issued to Rising Kashmir the two arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat resident of Renzipora and Waseem Ahmad Wani resident of Baderwan Pulwama and were arrested while they were travelling in Auto Load Carrier JK03F-8420 from Pulwama to Awantipora.15 kg of Poppy Straw was recovered from their possession.
The Auto Load carrier used for the commission of the offence has also been seized.Case FIR Number 150 /2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
