After the questioning of ED twice to Farooq Abdullah in the cricket scam, Mehbooba Mufti in her first press conference said that India wants the land of Kashmir and is not interested in its people.
She has distanced herself from Pakistan after the recent statements by BJP that the people’s alliance was anti-national and Pak sponsored programme to disturb peace in Kashmir.
Mehbooba Mufti said that they will not carry any flag unless they will not get back the separate flag of Jammu and Kashmir which was on the top of civil secretariat before the abrogation of article 370.
Mehbooba said that Kashmir has acceded to secular and liberal India and they do not feel now comfortable in the present circumstance especially after the abrogation of article 370.
