There have been in the past also a lot of visits by law makers from parliament to Jammu and Kashmir and now a huge delegation of members of parliament have arrived in Kashmir again.

It has significance as this is one of the major arrivals of lawmakers to Kashmir in such a number post August 5, 2019. They are here to look for the ways and means to provide their inputs to the government on how to promote tourism culture and how to modernize the transport system in the valley.

This visit is also important as the delegation is directly linked to the Parliamentary Standing Committee of these departments. The delegation has met a lot of stakeholders during their visit and have received the feedback from them of how to revive these sectors and provide the much needed economic relief to the Kashmir valley and its people as there is no tourism picking up after the august 5, 2019.

Thousands of the families have been at the receiving end as the situation was such that after the clampdown from the central government to avoid any law and order problem, there was another lockdown, due to the pandemic and it has really crippled economy here.

The biggest contribution of this parliamentary delegation is that they can provide the feedback given to them by the stakeholder and delegations and can guide the departments of how to frame the future policies to revive tourism in real sense.
