After the walkout

Sajad Gani Lone of Peoples Conference walked out from People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) amalgam and said that the main reason was the breach of trust among the different constituents of this platform.

Basically Peoples Conference leaders openly talked about the proxy candidates fielded by different People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) units against each other in the recently held DDC elections.

The National Conference started getting pressure from the different units, president of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) and president of National Conference Farooq Abdullah maintained silence over this issue.

After the official resignation of Sajad from People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), the reaction of the National Conference was more of arrogance than any signs of reconciliation to save this political platform for the greater cause of restoration of article 370.

National Conference leaders issued statements saying that he does not make any difference whether Sajad Lone and his party remain with People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) or not.

Omar Abdullah has recently come under a lot of criticism for influencing the distribution of DDC tickets; officially he was not part of any exercise within the amalgam.
