Governemnt of Jammu and Kashmir has not officially said anything so far whether they are going to left the curbs on the speed of internet or not.

However, Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha recently said that he has already framed the committee in this direction and very soon the curbs would be lifted.

The problem of the student community and traders has peaked now due to the lack of high speed internet and the continued curbs have really added to their problems and they are hoping against hope that someday the government will restore 4G services in Jammu and Kashmir.

The government had indicated earlier in the court also that they are going to restore 4G services and in this direction they even restore high speed internet in Ganderbal and Udhampur districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

The people of Jammu and Kashmir after the assurances by Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha were expecting high speed internet in these days but fact remains that the official communication available in the media is that the ban will continue February 06, 2021.

There is no doubt that the students have been suffering and it has impacted the school education especially in the private schools. The latest is a group of around 3,800 private schools from Jammu and Kashmir has moved the Supreme Court seeking restoration of 4G internet services in the newly created union territory, contending the restrictions adversely affected the interests of students, businesses.
