Much to the delight of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the government has finally restored 4G internet services in the entire Jammu and Kashmir.

Internet was completely shut on August 4, 2019, by the government to abrogate Article 370. There have been a lot of demands for different sections of society for the restoration of 4G services in the entire JK as the business and schooling were at the receiving end.

Central government after the complete shutdown of the communications, in a phased manner started restoring the telephone services, followed by mobile services, but curbs on high-speed internet remain 18 long months.

Recently thousands of private schools together in a fresh writ petition in a Supreme Court had prayed for the restoration of 4G services as the rolls in these schools have come down and low internet speed has also irked students also.

The good of restoration of 4G services was first tweeted by Principal Secretary PDD Rohit Kansal and was followed by a huge number of tweets by people of Jammu and Kashmir as all sections of society hailed this decision of the government.

Even the political leaders and political parties have welcomed the decision of the government to restore high-speed internet and they have said that more decisions should be taken by the central government to restore faith in the common people.
