During the current session of the parliament MP from Srinagar and PAGD President Farooq Abdullah stressed for dialogue and restoration of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi recently, Farooq Abdullah and another MP of Anantnag Husnain Masoodi held a symbolic protest, holding placards asking for an impartial probe and bodies of slain youth back to their families.
The recent alleged fake encounter on the outskirts of Srinagar Hokersar came into the media focus again when police filed FIR against one of the slain youths father under stringent laws of UAPA along with seven other villagers as they protested for the required permission to bring the body of his sixteen year-old son back from Sonmarg for a dissent burial in their native village.
The two MP’s of the National Conference who are part of PAGD have also demanded an impartial probe into the alleged fake encounter on the outskirts of Srinagar recently in which three youth from South Kashmir were killed.
Although police have said that they have a lot of evidence to prove that all the slain youth were involved in militancy, but the families and their relatives are asking for a fair probe as they allege it was a fake encounter.
