About two dozen foreign envoys came to Jammu and Kashmir on a two day visit and met dozens of delegations from various sections of the society including from politics.
They also met recently elected DDC members both in Srinagar and Jammu region and were informed about the conduct of these elections and how these members will get the powers to implement developmental projects at the local level.
In this direction Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also held an interaction with the Foreign Envoys who were on their two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir to have a firsthand appraisal of government’s efforts to restore normalcy and boost development in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sinha told them in detail that the efforts of the central government after the abrogation of article 370 have been focused on the progress and development of Jammu and Kashmir and said that many of the efforts of the central government are visible on the ground.
He said that in order to give a boost to the progress and development in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Sinha said that they are going to bring investors so that they can change the face of development here.
