Congress party has a lot of internal problems and some of them have now travelled out of their drawing rooms into the field. Recently Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad came to Jammu to drum up support for his views and he also provided the stage to all those senior Congress leaders who want a change within the party which include end to the back room politics and transparent elections in order to bring the party out of present inertia.

Ghulam Nabi Azad has been very vocal for the changes within the party system and he was one of the main faces of those voices of dissent within the party fold who wrote a letter to acting party president Sonia Gandhi calling for proper elections and to bring the party out from the present slowness.

In the recent municipal elections of Gujarat Congress has been edged out as an opposition party even at the grass root level and its space has been taken by Aam Aadmi Party and Assaududin Owais.

The condition of the Congress by these municipal elections has come to the focus of not only the media but all those party leaders who want the party to be very aggressive on the ground which would be seen as a viable opposition by the people in order to vote for them.

The Congress party is suffering from internal problems and Ghulam Nabi Azad is the rallying point for all the voices of dissent within the party and he is emerging as the main figure for all these leaders who want changes in the Congress set up.
