Body of man recovered from a cab in central Kashmir

Body of a man was on Sunday recovered from a cab in central Kashmir district of Budgam.

Official sources said that panic gripped village Daharmuna when some locals saw body of a man inside a cab at a main road in Budgam on Sunday. “The locals immediately informed the police,” they said, adding a team was rushed to the area and the body was taken away.

They said the deceased was later identified as Ali Muhammad, a resident of Magam in Budgam. “Police has registered a case and initiated investigation to ascertain the cause of the death,” they said.

They said after completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
