Massive arson incident in Nawa Kadal leave five people injured

In a devastating fire incident in the Tarbal area of Nawa Kadal, five people received burn injuries as they were struggling to come out from their homes during the incident.

Being a congested locality of downtown Srinagar fire engulfed many houses and it was very difficult for the fire tenders to douse these flames.

The locals who were trapped in the fire incident sustained fire injuries and were submitted to the burn ward of SMHS hospital where the doctors have started treating them.

According to KNO, in this fire incident at least five persons were injured after massive fire broke out in Tarbal area of Nawa Kadal in Srinagar.

Officials said that five persons sustained injuries when the fire broke out in Tarbal area.

“All the five injured persons were rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment,” they said, adding that the condition of all the injured persons is stated to be stable.

The fire broke from residential place of Mehraj ud din Mattu, which later engulfed to other nearby structure as well, which belong to Showkat Ahmad, they said.
