According to the local management of Jamia Masjid Srinagar there would not be collective Fajr and Isha prayers along with Taraweeh during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to KNO Auqaf Jamia Masjid member told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the decision has been taken in wake of the government’s decision to impose a night curfew to prevent COVID-19 from spreading.

“It has been decided that only three prayers including Zuhar, Asr and Maghrib will be offered at historic Jamia Masjid here while the religious place will remain closed for Fajr and Isha prayers including Taraweeh,” he said.
