Surge in Srinagar

Srinagar city is witnessing the spread of covid-19 virus at an alarming speed, making people worried about their health conditions. In the recent past the administration has been going according to the directions of the union health ministry about the vaccination programme.

Recently in view of surge in Covid-19 cases, the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of covid vaccination process in the district and directed the officials not to lower the guard at any cost.

The district authorities have directed the other wings including police to go very strict with the violators of precautions already announced by them.

The Deputy Commissioner Srinagar not only discussed the status of Covid-19 vaccination besides impact of the precautions that need to be taken in the district to control spread of the Covid-19, but also asked his officials to remain vigilant because of the steep rise in the positive cases.

Srinagar city is receiving a lot of travelers and tourists on a daily basis and the government has already kept the testing facility available at the airport and all the positive cases are being referred to the concerned health officials who direct them on how to tackle the infection.
