While there is a lot of controversy about the price variation in the cost of vaccines, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has announced that covid-19 vaccination would be free of cost for all the people between the age group of 18-45 in Jammu and Kashmir.
In this direction UT government of Jammu and Kashmir in a recent meeting has decided to bear all cost for the procurement of vaccines directly. Manoj Sinha has also instructed his administration to constitute vaccine logistic teams for ensuring hassle-free procurement & availability of Covid-19 Vaccines in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Already in Jammu and Kashmir aged people are being vaccinated at the different health centres across Jammu and Kashmir. This vaccination drive is still going on and people are going to the health centres for the vaccination.
Free of cost vaccination to be procured by the JK government would be made available through a distribution chain at all the designated health centres in Jammu and Kashmir.
Free vaccination for all people in the age group of 18-45 years would be one of the massive vaccination drives to be held here.
