Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha has assured the people of Jammu and Kashmir that they will get every possible health care facility during the current wave of pandemic in all the government run hospitals.

He recently held a series of meetings with his administration especially with the health department officials and stressed upon them that they should ensure speedy response to the growing number of patients as the second wave of pandemic has shown an ugly in Srinagar city to a great extent.

The daily number of deaths and admissions in the hospitals for the covid positive patients is a disturbing trend which is now quite visible.

The government has already responded with restrictions on containment zones and finally the lockdown which was recently extended as is going on.

In such an atmosphere common people are living under fear as the infection is showing its reach to every home almost in Srinagar city. Thousands of positive cases are being detected on a daily basis and the hospitals which have been designated as covid hospitals are already showing that they cannot further admit the patient.
