India’s total tally of Covid-19 cases surged to 2,26,62,575 with 3,29,942 new infections, while the recoveries have surged to 1,90,27,304, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Tuesday.
The death count increased to 2,49,992 with 3,876 new fatalities, the data updated at 8 am showed.
Meanwhile, eleven Covid patients who were in the ICU died at a government hospital in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati on Monday evening after the supply of medical oxygen was disrupted.
