Fighting pandemic

The government of Jammu and Kashmir has recently said that they are working round the clock to tackle covid crisis and save the lives of common people.

In this connection Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha recently spoke to senior leaders of various mainstream political parties seeking their cooperation and suggestions in order to deal with the situation in a better manner.

The government has been holding meetings, trying to streamline the process of distribution of oxygen and making available the medicines for the covid patients.

Besides these measures the government has already extended the corona curfew by another week as the mingling of people on Eid-ul-Fitr could have made the situation worse.

The government has also suspended the railway services from Banihal to Baramulla as the crowds used to be on the platforms without adhering to sops to reach their destinations.

The government has also asked its own employees to make a duty roaster and come on the daily duties with 50% of the strength. Despite all these measures and steps taken by the administration, there is no sign of flattening the curve as the corona positive cases are being reported thousands on a daily basis.
