Corono curfew

Government of Jammu and Kashmir is enforcing corono curfew with all force to flatten the curb of the infection. Srinagar Administration has launched an online application for the permission of scheduled marriages in the city. Deputy Commissioner Srinagar in a tweet has appealed people not to visit his office for the permission of marriages. He has appealed people to adhere to covid protocol and apply for the permission online.

In a dig to those people who still visit his office for the marriage permission, he has said in a tweet that marriages are made in heaven and not in DC offices.

Soon after the Eid-ul-Fitr the marriages season has started in Kashmir Valley especially in Srinagar city. The government has first allowed 100 people to participate in such ceremonies it was followed by another order allowing 50 people. Finally after imposition of corono curfew, government has in a fresh order said that only 25 people can participate in such ceremonies.

People of Srinagar city should understand the gravity of the situation and should not exceed the limit of 25 people for the participation of marriages ceremonies. Otherwise, the pandemic can spread further by such social events and even those 25 people should adhere to the SOPs while participating in marriage ceremonies.
