The government of Jammu and Kashmir in the recent past has decided to hold the hand of all those families who have lost their earning hands in the recent pandemic which is still going on and which has taken a lot of precious human lives.

In this direction Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha with the help of e-governance tools has launched a special scheme for the financial assistance to all those families who have lost their bread earners due to covid-19 infection.

Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha said that his dream is to leave no one behind, ensuring Social Protection to Families affected by Covid-19.

He further said

Lt Governor Manoj Sinha launches Special Scheme SASCM’ for families which have lost their bread earner during pandemic will ensure that the families get the required financial assistance in order to live with dignity and honour.

Governors administration in the recent past have taken prompt & decisive action to support Elderly, Women & Children, who are left without any earning hands by this pandemic.

Lt. Governor said that the commitment to support vulnerable families is long-term, so that boys and girls in these families are not left behind especially in education so that in the long term they flourish in their lives.
