New Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir has held a number of high level meetings in order to get the feedback about covid containment measures and has asked the health department and other wings of his administration to put in more efforts in order to flatten the curve.
He has directed for universal vaccination of 45 and above age category and has set the timeline for his administration to complete this job by 30th June.
In these meetings he reviewed COVID containment measures including the progress of vaccination drives and asked his officers to keep the timeline in mind while going for vaccination at different government designated centers.
The Chief Secretary complimented the efforts of the Health & Medical Education Department, divisional and district administrations in mitigating the COVID-19 pandemic, but told them to put in more efforts so that a common man feels that the administration is ready to help them in this hour of crisis.
The new Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir has a lot of experience as a bureaucrat here to tackle the situations and has started fresh efforts to contain the covid-19 wave and in this direction he has started getting the feedback not only from the ground but also from the experts and senior doctors.
