Food Safety Department conducts special drives in Rajouri district

Lifts 7 samples of different mustard oil brands  

RAJOURI, JUNE 05: To ascertain the quality of mustard oil available in the market, the Food Safety Department Rajouri conducted special drives across different areas of the district.

During the drive, the teams lifted as many as 7 samples of different brands of mustard oil  and sent the same to the accredited laboratory outside the UT for analysis.

The Assistant Commissioner of Food Safety, Ajeet Singh informed that the drives for different food items are being conducted from time to time to make the availability of safe food for all.

The Assistant Commissioner asked the shopkeepers to strictly adhere to the norms of the Food and Safety Act and warned them of the strict action. if found violating the necessary guidelines of the act. He further said that the special drives will continue in the larger public interest.
