Massive testing

Testing has been accelerated across Jammu and Kashmir by different wings of the government coordinated by JK health department. The crash courses were organized for the ground level workers to impart them the training for the testing and these training camps have been very vital to go for the testing at the village level.

Even door to door testing was held in many mini containment zones by the health workers and all those persons who tested positive to covid-19 were immediately isolated and among those who needed hospitalization were treated accordingly.

Massive level of testing in different villages also resulted in identifying the covid positive cases and those who were having mild symptoms were taken to covid care centers established at the panchayat levels so that they got the proper treatment and isolation.

All these efforts coupled with covid restrictions were able to break the curve of the virus to great extent and even the daily number of deaths due to the covid-19 has come down.

Now it is the collective responsibility of people and administration to cooperate with each other so that life is back to normal as the government has already provided the required guidelines for the common people who come out in the markets and on the streets to follow.
