Covid Containment

The government of Jammu and Kashmir has taken slew of measures for the covid containment not only in Srinagar city but also at the village level in both the regions. In this direction, police have been asked to enforce weekend curfew in letter and spirit so that the curve which has been flattened to great extent does not recur.

Similarly the testing has been increased in the towns and villages and with the result all those people who have tested positive have been given the required treatment and also the isolation if required at the covid care centers established by the government recently.

Apart from massive testing, the government of Jammu and Kashmir is also conducting vaccination at the designated centers and the process is picking up pace.

The administration has got the directions from the LG Manoj Sinha that they will have to put extra efforts to contain the covid wave and also to give the required treatment to all those patients who have tested positive to this infection.

Due to the efforts of the JK administration, there have been a lot of recoveries from the covid designated hospitals and the death rate has also gone down.

The massive testing has also resulted in identifying the covid positive cases so that they get the timely treatment and are isolated from the rest in order to break the chain of infection.
