Covid protocol is must for the people to adhere to in Jammu and Kashmir so that after the dip in the infection they can start their economic activities and live their lives.
Although the infection is receding and it is a good sign however, even LG Manoj Sinha said that it’s only a small battle won in a really long war as the people have to remain vigilant to keep the infection away.
He appealed to people to ensure Covid protocol like mask wearing, social distancing; limiting the number of people in social gatherings is rigorously followed.
He instructed his DC’s and SP’s of every district to enforce the rule of penalizing Tourists carrying fake RTPCR test reports at the entry points, by road or air; Authorities must send them back so that the infection does not spread any further.
He appealed to people to get vaccinated to protect themselves & their loved ones from deadly coronavirus as vaccination is the key to keep away the infection and live normal lives.
J&K registered its highest vaccination number with over 1,14,000 doses administered across the UT in a single day and the government is trying its best to vaccinate the people at the speed they need so that before the third wave hits the country, the people of Jammu and Kashmir are prepared to face it.
LG Manoj Sinha recently held a series of meetings with his administration to combat the infection and has asked DCs, Health authorities to ensure priority age group is fully vaccinated within a week.
