Now ANC also decides to boycott delimitation exercise

After the boycott announcement to the proceedings of delimitation commission by PDP, Awami National Conference has also decided not to meet the commission.

Different political parties of Kashmir have expressed their apprehensions about the entire exercise undertaken by the central government and have urged the commission to be transparent and fair not only between the two regions of Kashmir and Jammu but also within the regions.

According to KNT, the Awami Conference has said that the creation of the Delimitation Commission stands challenged before the Supreme of India and it doesn’t want to interfere in court matters.

The party as per news agency Kashmir News Trust in a communiqué to Chief Electoral Officer, Election Commission of India has said that it is constrained to participate in the proceedings that you are likely to initiate because of the hard fact that the creation of the Delimitation commission stands challenged before the  Supreme of India.

“It will not be proper to interfere with the working of the Supreme Court,” the party General Secretary Advocate Mir Muhammad Shafi has informed.
