Education for all

In order to achieve the goal of education for all in Jammu and Kashmir recently LG Manoj Sinha held a review meeting of the education department and has asked its administration to look for ways and means to improve its functioning and make possible the dream of education for all in Jammu and Kashmir.

He has asked for Capacity Building of teachers; improving quality of education; enhancing learning outcomes among the students and teachers.

While there are many schemes, Manoj Sinha asked the administration to ensure benefits under “PM CARES for Children”, ‘SASCM’ scheme, reaches every child affected due to Covid pandemic.

In the recent past J&K administration was able to impart Elementary Teachers Training through online mode to 80600 teachers and made Jammu and Kashmir to top the country under NISHTHA programme.

With an aim to bring a paradigm shift in the school education ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha recently called for constituting Educational Reforms Committee of Teachers at various levels for developing scientific temper in students, besides providing them with quality education.

He asked the School Education Department to identify High-Performer Teachers who shall work as a member of this Special Task Force.
