Security forces defuse shell in Khag forests

After detecting an old shell in the Khag forest area of Budgam police and security forces recovered it and defused it. Normally the children sometimes play with such old shells and it results in tragedies.

It was a timely action by police and security forces to defuse the old shell as it was detected in a forest area.

According to KNO while reporting this incident from Budgam has said in its report that security forces on Saturday found and defused an old shell at Khag forest area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Sources told that security forces received information that an old shell is lying in the forest area of habber Lasipora.

He said that teams of police and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) reached the spot and defused the shell.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Budgam, Tahir Saleem told that police found a shell and destroyed it in a safer area.
