Mughal road closed for traffic due to inclement weather

Authorities have decided to suspend traffic on alternate highway of Mughal road as there are reports of landslides triggered by heavy downpour on this road.

Reports said that landslides were witnessed near Poshana area of Surankote in Poonch district, forcing the authorities to suspend the traffic on this road to avoid any mishap

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the road got closed after a landslide occurred near Poshana today morning, following which traffic movement was suspended on both sides.

They said that the road clearance operations were in progress to resume traffic on the road.
