Basant Bagh fire leave a family with dreams shattered for marriage of their girls

In a devastating fire incident, a family not only lost their house but also got their dreams shattered as they were left with only two weeks to marry off their two daughters.

According to the police and locals the fire incident took place during the morning hours of Monday. It completely consumed the house of Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh and got reduced to ashes.

According to the KNO news agency quoting the owner of the house it said in its new report that, Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh said that he was scheduled to host the guests in the first week of September, saying that his two daughters are scheduled to get married.

“The devastating fire has shattered all our dreams. We have lost everything in the blaze,” he said, adding that the gold worth lakhs of rupees and cash was also reduced to ashes in the massive fire.

He said that there are no hopes left now and the family is in distress.

Sheikh, along with family and all the neighbors appealed the Lieutenant Governor led administration to help the affected family at this crucial juncture.
