Recently the government of Jammu and Kashmir has launched the Website of Organic Certification Agency. With the launch of the website, the facility of registration will be available to the farmers of Jammu and Kashmir with linkage to national and international markets and it would be a game changer for them to get the markets for their produce.

Lt Governor felicitated progressive farmers and released Seed Dynamics book and Saffron Booklet. He also inspected stalls displayed in the Farmers’ organic market and launched Veterinary Ambulatory Services.

The government has underscored the reforms brought by the Government for getting appropriate dividends for farmers and other stakeholders associated with the sector.

The Government, Department of Agriculture Production & Farmer’s Welfare, in his address, highlighted various farm-centric initiatives that were taken by the government. He also spoke on the initiatives taken by the department to promote organic farming, besides encouraging seed production in J&K.

Recently while extending mobile veterinary services, the government of JK said that 48 such centers will be launched in the coming days.

If all these efforts are implemented on the ground especially by the panchayats for the farmers of Jammu and Kashmir, there would be a lot of markets available for their produce and they can utilize the services available on the websites and also on the website launched by the Jammu and Kashmir government.
