No respite from high temperatures in Srinagar even in October

While September witnessed hot days and the temperatures were above normal even in the month of October now the trend is the same. According to the officials, the minimum night temperature in Srinagar was 18.1 degrees Celsius, 8.8°C above the normal.

This is a disturbing trend according to the weather experts as not only in Srinagar, such minimum temperatures were recorded in other parts of Kashmir.

Climate change, global warming are some of the summaries being given by the experts about the high temperatures being recorded in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir in this autumn season.
