Whenever the government of Jammu and Kashmir is going for tourism promotion campaigns, they have been trying to promote the local talent in the shape of singers and dancers who perform on the stages to showcase their talent.

Recently during the tourism festival such local artists were present on the stage and enthralled the audience. During this cultural program which was attended by LG Manoj Sinha also he lauded the impressive singing and dance performances of talented artists of Kashmir. He said that the three-day fest organized with the theme of “Aao Kashmir” will definitely attract a large number of tourists from across the world.

The stalls of local handicrafts, handloom products, and local cuisines on display in the festival will showcase the world-famous Kashmiri tradition and culture of rich values and unique creativity.

The stalls of JKTDC, and departments of Handloom and handicrafts were also displayed in the fest to facilitate the tourists and local weavers and craftsmen.

The tourism season during the current autumn is showing some visible coming of tourists though the stakeholders are trying their best to bring tourists and to get out of debt traps as they have seen disruptions of seasons for years now.

If the season picks up during this autumn it will have a positive impact on the winter season also and the government is trying to bring back tourists to Kashmir so that this industry gets a push.
