The government of Jammu and Kashmir has devised many new methods by virtue of which common people can get their grievances redressed. Even LG Manoj Sinha is holding such live Public Grievance Hearings in Jammu and Kashmir so that people can directly talk to him about their problems.
Recently he held interaction with the public during the 7th round of Live Public Grievance Hearing. During this round of hearings, many people got their grievances redressed on the spot.
He told the officers of J&K government to ensure quality disposal of every genuine public grievance to make the system more effective, responsive, and vibrant.
The interaction proved beneficial for many people as several grievances were redressed on the spot by the Lt Governor.
During the two-hour-long programme, he interacted with as many as 20 individuals selected randomly from all 20 districts of the UT, and took detailed information regarding the status of their grievances from the concerned DCs and other officers.
He directed the officers to ensure quality disposal of every genuine public grievance to make the system more effective, responsive, and vibrant.
Government has brought transparency and accountability in the system through several reformative interventions. All the officials of the administration must ensure that the public grievances are redressed in the shortest possible time.
