As the precautionary measure SKIMS ask its non local staff to remain in campus

Srinagar

Authorities of Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura on Thursday have asked their non local staff to stay within the campus and not venture out as a precautionary measure.

It has said that all those non local staff members of SKIMS who will still reside outside the campus will do so at their own risk and responsibility.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the SKIMS has come up with this instruction after attacks on non-locals in parts of Kashmir Valley.

Medical Superintendent SKIMS has instructed that all the doctors and nursing para medical staff from outside the Valley working at SKIMS who are residing out of the Institute Campus are requested to shift immediately to SKIMS Campus. They need to contact the Estates Department who have arranged for their accommodation within the Campus.

The arrangements have been on the directions of the Government and anybody who continues to reside outside the Institute Campus even after these instructions will be staying there at his / her own risk and responsibility.

 

Non-local staff working at SKIMS are staying in different parts of Srinagar and now Estates Department have arranged accommodation for them inside the Institute.
