Shop destroyed in Jammu fire

A shop in Janipura area here was destroyed in a fire that broke out after a short circuit on Friday, police said.

The blaze in the Lower Roopnagar store was extinguished by two fire tenders that were rushed to the spot.
“Short circuit is believed to be the cause,” said the police, adding the fire was timely doused and did not spread to any other location.
