Hyderpora Encounter: Himself being doctor, Mudasir was distracting other youth to pick up arms, Says D P Pandey

Says Mudasir was earning money illegally from his foreign associates; ‘In today’s time need nothing more than to win hearts of people’

Srinagar, Nov 16: General Commanding officer D P Pandey on Tuesday said that himself being a doctor Mudasir was distracting other youth to pick up guns instead of focusing on their careers.

As per Kashmir News Service (KNS), talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function at BB Cantt Srinagar, Pandey said that to disrupt peace a small population of people are distracting the youth of the Valley and Mudasir was one among them. “Being a doctor he used to operate a full-fledged call centre in the posh locality of Hyderpora which is not possible for a common man,” he said.

Pandey said that it is evident that Mudasir was earning money illegally from his foreign associates and was helping and distracting the youth to become militants.

Replying to a question, Pandey said that in today’s time “we need nothing more than to win the hearts of the people here. “The people of J&K have understood our aim and they have full confidence in us. We have won the trust of the people of Kashmir,” he said. (KNS)
